On August 9 we looked at the 7th seal in Revelation 8:1 and determined that it concerned the third great tribulation: 1And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. In Luke 15: 7I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just per- sons, which need no repentance. From comparing Revelation 8:1 with Luke 15:7 we conclude that during the half an hour of silence, God doesn't save anyone in or out of the churches.
From Revelation 17:12 we determined that the great tribulation lasts for one hour: 12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings (Satan in the churches with his false prophets; i.e., pseudo ministers of righteous as in 2 Corinthians 11:15), which have received no kingdom as yet; but re- ceive power as kings (in the congregations) one hour with the beast (Sa- tan). In Revelation 7: 9, 14 we have a great multitude, which no man could number, that came out of great tribulation as true believers (August 11). So God must save this great multitude during the last half hour of the great tribulation. Mathew 24:15-16 and Revelation 18:4 instruct us to abandon the churches; thus the great multitude must become saved out- side of them.
As we saw on August 11, Daniel 8:13-14 gives a 2300 day period that includes the transgression of desolation; i.e., the abomination of deso- lation of Matthew 24:15. Matthew 24:15 concerns the third great tribula- tion. Therefore so does Daniel 8:13-14: 13Then I heard one saint speak- ing, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed (Daniel 8:13-14).
We know from August 11 how Daniel 8:13-14 defines the term, sanc- tuary. It does not mean the churches but rather everything outside of them. On January 31 we determined 1994 as a Jubilee year within the period of great tribulation. We also determined that the Jubilee year of 1994 no more marks the beginning of the third great tribulation than B.C. 1877 and B.C. 587 denote that of the first and second ones respec- tively. The question begs itself: whether or not these two thousand and three hundred days of Daniel 8:14 refers to the half an hour of silence of Revelation 8:1; and whether or not this half an hour of silence might end in 1994. After all, a Jubilee year releases the elect from bondage to sin and the debt (death) owed for their transgressions. Since at the end of the 2300 days the sanctuary is cleansed (in Daniel 8:14), we conclude this half an hour of silence does last for the 2300 days of Daniel 8:14 and ends sometime in 1994.
Twenty-three hundred days runs about 6.3 years and takes us back into 1988 when the church age ended and the third great tribulation began. But what day? Since the first Pentecost ushered in the church age, it seems reasonable that the day before Pentecost in 1988 ended it. We find corroboration in Exodus 12:41: The Jews escape the Egyptians exactly 430 years after Jacob entered Egypt to begin the last part of the first great tribulation: 41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
From our
calendar calculator, with April 1988 plugged in, we find that the 14th of Nisan falls on Friday, April 1. Seven weeks later we come to Saturday, May 21, the day before Pentecost. Note that these dates fall on the same days as they did back in A.D. 33: they crucified Christ on Friday, April 1, the 14th of the lunar month, Nisan. Therefore the church age that began in A.D. 33, May 22, lasted for exactly 1955 years to the very day (|33 – 1988| = 1955), ending on May 21, 1988.
Using the language of Exodus 12:41, we can write, And it came to pass at the end of the nineteen hundred and fifty five years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of the congregations. The comparison doesn't ring true in the sense that anyone knew—not yet—they must abandon the congregations. However the churches no longer held the true believers in bondage to their false gospels. As God released the Jews from Egyptian captivity, He freed the true believers from ecclesiastical apostasy—and from Satan who now resided in the churches.
Daniel 8:14 tells us, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Obviously 2300 days from May 21, 1988 sends us into 1994. But what day? We begin on May 21, 1988 and count 2300 days. With 1988 a leap year we calculate as follows.
366 – (31 (Jan) + 29 (Feb) + 31 (March) +
30 (April) + 20 (May)) (=141)
And 366 – 141 =…………………….225 days left over in 1988
5 x 365 (1989 to 1993) =…………..1825 days for 1989 - 1993
1992 is a leap year =.......................…….1 extra day in 1992.
Subtotal (inclusive) =…….................2051 days 5/21/88 to 12/31/93
2300 days – 2051 =…….…………….249 days left over for 1994
(31 (Jan) + 28 (Feb) + 31(March) +
30 (April) + 31 (May) +30 (June) +
31 (July) + 31 (Aug)) =……………… 243 days to Aug 31 of 1994
6 days brings us to September 6…………6 days in Sept of '94.
Total days in 1994 =…………………..249 days total for '94
Total: 2051 + 249 =………………….2300 days.
So 2300 from May 21, 1988 lands us on September 6, 1994.
When we go to our calendar converter and plug in September 6, 1994 we get,
6 September 1994 corresponds to 1 Tishrei, 5755
Rosh Hashanah/ Tuesday
Interesting. 1 Tishri is a Jubilee day in a Jubilee month (in a Jubilee year).
To check our addition we can
"Calculate duration between two dates" by pluggin in May 21, 1988 to and including September 6, 1994, and get:
From and including: Saturday, May 21, 1988
To and including: Tuesday, September 6, 1994
It is 2300 days from the start date to the end date, end date included
Or 6 years, 3 months, 17 days including the end date
From Leviticus 23:24 we know 1 Tishri is a Jubilee day in a Jubilee month: 24 …In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets (shôpār i.e., ram's horn), an holy convocation.
Blowing of trumpets should have been translated as, Jubilee. On any other month the Jews blew the silver trumpets as a memorial to the burnt offering: Christ. But on 1 Tishri they sounded a loud blast with a ram's horn (shôpār) as a memorial of Christ as the Jubilee. Recall that Jesus was baptized on 1 Tishri 3790 (see January 19, 21) as a proclamation of His Word and escape from bondage to sin. Christ could then minister the Gospel for salvation. A similar situation exists on September 6, 1994 (1 Tishri 5755), when God again could bring the Gospel to His elect. But just as Christ had to wait for His baptism, God had to wait for the 2300 days (of Daniel 8:14), i.e., the half an hour of silence (of Revelation 8:1), to pass, when no one became saved. Matthew 24 describes that period when 22…except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Those days shall be shortened to the 2300 days (of Daniel 8:14) from May 21, 1988 to September 6, 1994 or 1 Tishri 5755. Then God again begins saving the great multitude (of Revelation 7:9, 14) through the hearing of the Gospel (according to Romans 10:17).
On February 4 we need to search for anything relating to the final half hour.
